While most students sit on their chairs at their desks and do work, 5th and 6th grade is trying something new. Having heard that sitting on yoga balls helps with ADD and ADHD, as well as balance and core strengthening, Ms. Commodore thought this would be a helpful tool to implement in her classroom. The school invested in the idea as something to try. You may think bouncing would be a distraction, but the students don’t have any problem sitting and doing work.
