as expecting to see a bear in there!” Madji (Camp Victory) said after exploring Luray Caverns in VA. Traveling many feet under the ground (up to 16 stories at one point), the fearless kids explored the ins and outs of the cave. “It was so cool that the stuff looked like eggs… and bacon… and ghosts… ” Many have never been in a cave before, let alone a cave of this size. Around every corner there something was new. They learned the difference between a stalactite (hangs from above) and a stalagmite (comes up from the ground). Madji left the cave with a smile and a grin proving he conquered something great. Glad we didn’t lose anyone… I think…
