StreetLeaders are youth aged 14-18 years who are employed by UrbanPromise to work as counselors, teachers and role models to children in our after school programs and summer camps.
The StreetLeader Program offers:
- Job training
- Leadership development
- Tutoring
- Mentoring
- Employment
- College preparation
StreetLeaders also participate in college tours, SAT prep classes, speaking tours in the United States and abroad, trips (camping, fishing, nearby cities) and peer events (formal dinners, lock-ins and more).
