This #GivingTuesday, UrbanPromise Wilmington set a goal to raise $30,000. Thanks to a generous donor who has agreed to match every gift, up to $15,000, we know with your help, we can meet our goal!
Funds raised on #GivingTuesday will:
Make After-School Camps a Great Experience:
- Sponsor 10 kids across 5 camps so they can experience full life.
- Provide a safe, fun, structured environment with caring staff and volunteers during after-school hours before parents are home from work
Help Renovate Staff Housing that Reflects:
- We love the neighborhoods, and we’re here to stay!
- A place where we can build relationships with children and families on the block.
- An affordable place for staff and interns to live while laying down their lives to love and serve children.
Fully Sponsor the Intern Cohort
- Two of our interns were recently fully funded at $20,000 at the annual banquet.
- Our two other interns have not yet reached their full funding, so we need to raise another $20,000.
- In January, a 5th intern will be arriving to spend 8 months with our team!
Every day children and teens learn, grow, and experience full life. The added blessing of interns who have said “YES” to laying down their lives for 12 months to serve has only increased our impact, serving youth, loving families, and inviting children to know Jesus.
