Each year students choose to spend their summer break by joining a community that is seeking transformation of Wilmington, one child at a time.
The summer internship program is a brief introduction to urban and youth ministry. It is an opportunity for young adults interested in ministry who have a summer break to choose to give right now!
The summer internship is a fast-paced 7 weeks experience which includes:
- A week of training, team building, and preparation.
- Leading classes at one of 5 summer camps.
- The joys and challenges of community living.
- Participating in afternoon options: arts & crafts, Bible Buddies, praise dance, sports, etc.
- Devotions to grow and stretch your faith.
- Sunday night Bible study and worship.
- Saturday trips to New York City, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore and the beach.
