This past weekend we had our first and second grade slumber party and it was so much fun! Personally I enjoyed getting to spend some intentional time with some of my youngest kids who tend to be more quiet and reserved. Each month the students and staff of Urban Promise School are delighted as Chef Paul O’Toole of Deerfield visits.  He brings his enthusiasm for cooking and sharing knowledge of healthy foods that engages the children.
